There’s just a couple of days to go until this weekend’s Highclere Country Show arrives at the Castle’s grounds, and as well as glorious sunshine planned, this Bank Holiday has a fantastic line-up of sporting pursuits and country inspired living coming to the stunning Highclere showground.
If you still haven’t booked your tickets for this weekend’s showcase, fear not, as tickets can still be bought on the day. Visitors attending can enjoy a full line up of entertainment, especially inside the Realtree Main Arena. From equestrian action with the Devil’s Horsemen, to Britain’s longest established and leading dog display team, the Essex Dog Display, there’s also everything you need to know about gundogs, with Gamegoer as well as Bob Hogg’s Sheepdog Display. Hywel Morgan and Chris Green will also be featuring inside Highclere’s newest Countryside Arena.
Also at Highclere this Bank Holiday weekend, visitors can enjoy a dedicated BASC Village housing everything to do with shooting and conservation, a Survival Camp and both Craft and Antiques Fairs, not to mention a whole host of family inspired entertainment. From Animal displays, Airsoft to a Mole Show, there is also a huge array of have-a-go fun, musical entertainment and demonstrations in every rural craft. So whether you’re a sportsman, or a family looking for a day out with the kids there is something for everyone to get involved at Highclere this weekend.
